
Thiruvananthapuram, April 9: The assembly elections in Kerala are in full swing, with citizens, politicians, and celebrities heading to polling booths to cast their votes.
Voting is taking place across 140 assembly seats in the state. Renowned Malayalam cinema actors Mammootty, Mohanlal, Kunchacko Boban, and Prithviraj Sukumaran were seen voting alongside their families.
Prithviraj Sukumaran shared photos and videos on social media after casting his vote. Actor Mohanlal proudly displayed his inked finger, encouraging everyone to participate in the voting process. Similarly, Malayalam actor and film producer Prithviraj Sukumaran posted a photo of his inked finger, emphasizing the importance of voting and urging everyone to step out and make their voices heard.
Kunchacko Boban also posted a video expressing his joy after voting, showcasing the camaraderie with others in line. He was recently seen in the crime thriller “Officer on Duty.” Mammootty arrived to vote with his wife, Sulfath Kutty, wearing a mask.
Following Mammootty, Dulquer Salmaan also made his way to the polls. He is currently featured in the Telugu romantic thriller film “DQ 41,” alongside lead actress Pooja Hegde. Additionally, actor Tovino Thomas voted with his family in Thrissur. When asked about entering politics, Tovino expressed that he is not prepared for the stress that comes with it and has no intentions of pursuing a political career at this time.
