Auckland, March 20: The South Africa women’s cricket team has set a target of 150 runs for New Zealand in the third T20 match. Batting first, South Africa scored 149 runs while losing 7 wickets.

Captain Laura Wolvaardt won the toss and opted to bat first. The team’s start was shaky, losing both openers for just 9 runs. Wolvaardt, batting at number three, stabilized the innings with a 51-run partnership for the third wicket alongside Neri Dercksen. Dercksen scored 27 runs off 18 balls, hitting 2 fours and 2 sixes before being dismissed at a score of 60.

Wickets continued to fall at regular intervals. Wolvaardt managed to score 37 runs off 39 balls before being run out by Amelia Kerr.
