Mumbai, August 3: Director Jude Anthony Joseph announced on social media that the sound mixing for his upcoming film ‘Thudakkam’ has been completed.
He shared several photos with his team on his official Instagram account. In his post, he revealed that the film has a runtime of 2 hours, 19 minutes, and 35 seconds. He stated, “A complete family drama and thriller of 2 hours, 19 minutes, and 35 seconds – that’s our promise to you. We hope the satisfaction we felt completing the film will be shared by you as well.”
He added, “Working with this amazing and talented team has been a fun and truly peaceful journey. ‘Thudakkam’ is my fifth dream. The final sound mix is complete, and like all of you, I can’t wait to see ‘Thudakkam’ on the big screen. See you in theaters!”
In this film, Mohanlal’s daughter, Vismaya Mohanlal, is set to make her acting debut. She plays the lead role, while her father, Mohanlal, will appear in a special or extended cameo. Other notable cast members include Ashish, Antony, Sai Kumar, K.B. Ganesh Kumar, Manoj K. Jayan, and Mia George.
The film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas. The music is composed by Jakes Bejoy, with cinematography by Jomon T. John and Akhil George, and editing by Chaman Chacko. The shooting is complete, and ‘Thudakkam’ is ready for its release in theaters on August 7.
Vismaya Mohanlal is also known as a writer. Before stepping into acting, she worked as a writer and assistant director. She has authored a poetry book titled ‘Grains of Stardust’.
