Shiv Sena Spokesperson Dismisses Allegations of Vote Theft by Uddhav Thackeray

Raju Waghmare counters Uddhav Thackerays claims of vote theft, stating no evidence has been presented by opposition parties.

Mumbai, October 18 (Daily Kiran) : Raju Waghmare, spokesperson for Shiv Sena, sharply criticized Uddhav Thackeray’s claims of vote theft during a recent statement. Waghmare asserted that opposition parties have failed to provide any evidence of vote theft, either to the Election Commission or the Supreme Court, labeling the allegations as baseless.

He remarked, “Uddhav Thackeray must clarify that no leader from the opposing party has presented any proof regarding their claims of vote theft. If they lack evidence for the alleged crime, mere talk will not suffice.” Waghmare emphasized that the information circulating is primarily based on news articles and internal documents, which should not be used to make accusations against the government.

Waghmare further noted that the opposition has not been granted the opportunity to protest on any issue. He suggested that the current protests are merely attempts by various opposition parties to showcase their presence on the streets, which has led to traffic disruptions in Delhi. This situation is affecting daily life and commerce, making it difficult for the public and those in need of medical attention to navigate the city.

Regarding the detention of Abhijit Dipke, leader of the Cockroach People’s Party (CJP), ahead of a planned Tiranga March, Waghmare defended the police’s actions. He explained that Dipke was informed that a notice had been issued prohibiting the rally at his desired location. “If he chose to disregard the notice and proceed with the rally, that would be against the law,” Waghmare stated, adding that Dipke was arrested for violating these regulations but has since been released on bail.

Waghmare concluded by stressing that if protests like these become a daily occurrence, they will undoubtedly impact public order and the daily lives of citizens, particularly those involved in business.
