Mumbai, March 5: Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is currently making headlines with his upcoming film ‘Bhoot Bangla.’ This comedy-horror movie features the famous trio of Priyadarshan, Akshay Kumar, and Paresh Rawal, generating significant excitement among fans.
A fun and unexpected moment unfolded on the film set when former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan made a surprise visit. This was captured in a video shared on the official social media account of Balaji Motion Pictures. In the video, Shikhar is seen entering the set and taking pictures with Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan while engaging in lively conversation.
As a wicket fell, everyone around erupted in cheers. During a break, Akshay and Shikhar decided to play a friendly cricket match on set. The match turned out to be quite entertaining. Shikhar batted first, followed by Akshay. Akshay confidently hit some good shots and scored runs, but the highlight came when Shikhar bowled a stunning delivery that clean bowled Akshay. The crowd erupted in cheers, shouting “Howzat!”

Directed by Priyadarshan, the film also stars Tabu, Vamika Gabbi, Rajpal Yadav, and Mithila Palkar in key roles. Produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, and Ekta R. Kapoor, this marks the first collaboration between Akshay and Priyadarshan in 16 years. Notably, this is Priyadarshan’s second Hindi horror-comedy film, following his work on ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa,’ which featured Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, and Manoj Joshi.
