Sharad Pawars Health Stable; Expected to Be Discharged from Hospital Soon

Sharad Pawars health is stable, and he may be discharged from the hospital soon after being treated for chest pain.

Pune, November 3 (Daily Kiran) : Sharad Pawar, the leader of the Nationalist Congress Party and former Union Minister, is in stable condition and recovering well. Doctors at Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune indicated that he could be discharged as early as Wednesday.

Dr. Parvez K. Grant, the chief cardiologist and managing trustee of the clinic, provided an official update on Pawar’s health. He stated, “The medical team is monitoring Sharad Pawar’s condition closely. His health is stable, and he is experiencing reduced pain. We expect he may be able to leave the hospital tomorrow.”

Pawar was admitted to the hospital on Monday after complaining of chest pain associated with persistent coughing. Routine medical tests are currently being conducted to assess his condition.

Dr. Grant explained, “Sharad Pawar was admitted for a general health check-up and medical observation due to his chest pain. We anticipate further improvement, but he will remain under medical supervision as a precaution.”

In a social media update, Pawar’s daughter and Lok Sabha member Supriya Sule reassured the public, stating that all vital health parameters are stable. She expressed gratitude for the concern and well-wishes from supporters, saying, “Baba was admitted to Ruby Hall Clinic after experiencing coughing issues. His medical tests are ongoing, and all health parameters are stable.”

Party representatives and medical officials have urged well-wishers and party workers to remain calm and avoid spreading rumors. They are hopeful for Pawar’s recovery after sufficient rest and monitoring.

Earlier, on November 1, Pawar visited drought-affected areas in Solapur district, where he assessed the situation, evaluated crop damage, and spoke directly with impacted farmers. He announced a financial aid package of ₹50 lakh for Tulshi village, which is severely affected by water scarcity.

Pawar noted that over 135 water tankers are currently being dispatched to approximately 139 impacted villages in Solapur, with Mādha taluka alone requiring 110 tankers.

He also declared that his family will not celebrate Diwali in the traditional manner this year, focusing instead on drought relief efforts and assisting affected farming communities. Pawar urged political parties to set aside their differences and collaborate on drought relief initiatives.
