Major Fires Erupt in Delhi, No Casualties Reported
Two separate fires in New Delhis Pandav Nagar and Hauz Khas resulted in property damage but no injuries reported.

New Delhi, November 3 (Daily Kiran) : A series of fires broke out in New Delhi on Tuesday morning, with two separate incidents reported in Pandav Nagar and Hauz Khas. In Pandav Nagar, two electric bikes were completely destroyed by flames, while a boutique in Hauz Khas also caught fire. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported in either incident.
The fire in Pandav Nagar occurred near a house close to the Mother Dairy and Radha Krishna Temple. Firefighters received the alert and dispatched two fire engines to the scene. By 8:20 AM, they successfully extinguished the blaze.
Sources indicate that the fire consumed two electric bikes entirely. Residents managed to escape using the stairs and by climbing onto the balcony. However, the flames caused damage to the staircase as well. Preliminary investigations suggest that a short circuit may have triggered the fire, although the exact cause remains undetermined.
Emergency responders, including fire department personnel and police, quickly arrived on the scene to carry out necessary actions. Thankfully, there have been no reports of injuries.
Meanwhile, another fire erupted at house number 253 in Hauz Khas, directly in front of the Deputy Commissioner of Police’s office. The Delhi Fire Service received reports of this incident between 7:30 and 7:31 AM and dispatched six fire engines, which included two water-carrying vehicles, a water tanker, and three specialized units.
The fire broke out in a boutique located on the first floor of the building, which spans approximately 144 square yards and consists of a basement, ground floor, and three additional floors. As with the earlier incident, no injuries have been reported.
This follows a tragic fire that occurred on October 31 in the Mangolpuri industrial area, where a shoe factory blaze resulted in four fatalities and two injuries. Firefighters sent 20 engines to the scene after being notified at 9:32 PM, rescuing six individuals who were unconscious. Sadly, four were declared dead upon arrival at the Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, while the other two are currently receiving treatment.
