Riddhi expressed her long-standing affection for the month of July, stating that these memories brought back the essence of her early days in the city. “My journey in Mumbai began in July 2005. I had just graduated from college and was eager to explore, learn, and live in this vast world. I chose Mumbai, a city that had unknowingly called out to me for a long time. I find solace in its bustling life and charm,” she wrote.
The local trains became her favorite mode of transport. Between 2005 and 2007, she traveled across various vehicles in a single day. She would attend college and then head to her job from 9 AM to 5 PM. Throughout her commutes, she would gaze out of the train window, dreaming about her future. “I was confident that my future would be bright. Most importantly, I was the master of my own destiny. What we now call visualization and manifestation, I practiced daily back then. People referred to it as ‘daydreaming.’ During this time, a particular song played frequently on my iPod,” she recalled.
