Mumbai, April 24: Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), led by Mukesh Ambani, announced a net profit of ₹20,589 crore for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2026, covering January to March. The company also declared a dividend of ₹6 per share.
According to RIL’s exchange filing, the net profit and earnings from subsidiaries decreased by 8.9% year-on-year for this quarter.
However, the company’s total revenue rose by 12.9% to ₹3,25,290 crore, driven by strong performance across all segments, including Oil-to-Chemicals (O2C), digital services, and retail.
The oil and gas segment saw a decline in revenue, attributed to natural depletion in KG-D6 gas production.
In this quarter, the company’s capital expenditure (capex) amounted to ₹40,560 crore.
Jio Platforms reported an EBITDA increase of 17.9%, reaching ₹20,060 crore. The total number of Jio customers surpassed 524 million, including 268 million 5G users.
Meanwhile, Reliance Retail’s EBITDA grew by 3.1% to ₹6,921 crore, with the number of stores exceeding 20,000.
For the entire fiscal year 2025-26, the company recorded a net profit of ₹95,610 crore, an increase of 18.3% from the previous year.
As of March 31, 2026, the total capex stood at ₹1,44,271 crore. The company is rapidly advancing on major projects in O2C and new energy businesses, alongside expanding its Jio and retail networks.
Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani stated that the company is making continuous progress towards the listing of Jio Platforms, which will mark a significant milestone.
He noted that the year saw a 19% growth in EBITDA, primarily driven by increasing demand for mobile, broadband, and enterprise services.
Ambani emphasized that Jio will play a crucial role in bringing AI and new technologies to the masses, further advancing India’s digital development.
