Xiaomi has introduced a special Harry Potter Edition of its Redmi Pad 2 Pro tablet in China. This themed version features the same hardware specifications as the standard Redmi Pad 2 Pro, which was launched globally in September last year.
The tablet sports a 12.1-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It reaches 600 nits brightness and is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The touch sampling rate goes up to 360Hz, while stylus input supports up to 240Hz. The screen holds certifications from the China Quality Certification Center and TÜV Rheinland for low blue light emission, flicker-free performance, and comfortable viewing. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant also features a soft light screen option.

Priced at CNY 2,599 (approximately $374) for the 8GB/256GB model, it is about CNY 500 more expensive than the regular version. Xiaomi has not announced plans to release this edition outside China.
