Bangkok, March 9: Realme has officially launched its latest budget smartphone, the Realme Note 80, in select Southeast Asian markets, including Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand. This device is a slightly modified version of the Narzo 80 Lite 4G, which was introduced in India last year.

The Realme Note 80 boasts a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. It features a 90.4% screen-to-body ratio, offering a typical brightness of 450 nits and peaking at 563 nits in High Brightness Mode. The display also supports a touch sampling rate of up to 180Hz.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset, featuring an octa-core CPU and Mali-G57 GPU. It comes equipped with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and offers two storage options: 64GB and 128GB.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 8MP rear camera with autofocus and a 5MP front camera, both capable of video recording. The rear camera can record in 1080p at 30fps and includes features such as Night mode, Portrait mode, Panorama, Dual-view video, and up to 10x digital zoom.

The Realme Note 80 is powered by a robust 6300mAh battery, supporting 15W fast charging. Realme claims that the battery retains 80% health even after four years of daily use. The smartphone supports dual Nano-SIMs with 4G LTE but does not offer 5G connectivity. It also includes Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack, although NFC is not available. The device runs on Realme UI based on Android 15.

In terms of durability, the Note 80 features MIL-STD-810H military-grade impact resistance with ArmorShell protection, making it capable of withstanding drops from heights of up to 1.8 meters. It is also IP54-rated for dust and splash resistance, providing protection against spills and rain. The phone has a flat-frame design, measures 7.94mm in thickness, and weighs 197g. It is available in two color options: Glacier Blue and Storm Black.
