Lucknow, August 17: Om Prakash Rajbhar, the national president of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party and a minister in the Yogi government, has targeted Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav. He made sharp remarks about MP Rajiv Rai, accusing him of staging a “drama” related to a viral incident involving a water tank on social media. Rajbhar quipped that the MP’s performance overshadowed the iconic water tank scene from the classic film “Sholay.”
Rajbhar addressed Akhilesh, stating that there are even bigger “actors” in his party. He wrote on the social media platform X, “Dear Akhilesh, I learned yesterday that there are bigger actors than you in your party. I was pleased to know this. The water tank scene from ‘Sholay’ pales in comparison to your leader’s acting.” He further noted that Akhilesh is quite active on social media, suggesting he must have seen the post where MP Rajiv Rai showcased his antics.
Rajbhar commented that the MP’s aide climbed the water tank at the MP’s behest, using it as a platform to demand road construction on social media. The MP was waiting for the post to appear so he could respond by saying he was ready to fulfill the demands. Rajbhar stated, “The MP claimed he would get it done. The aide came down, and instead of lights, camera, action, it turned into a social media post frenzy.”
He added that the MP has outperformed Akhilesh in acting. While Akhilesh engages in performances under the guise of PDA, he lacks the substance that the MP displayed. Rajbhar expressed that if there were awards for acting on social media, no one could surpass the MP. He concluded with a humorous note, suggesting that a drama school is likely to open soon on Vikramaditya Marg. “Jai Bharat, Jai Shri Ram, Jai Shri Krishna, Jai Maharaj Suheldev,” he proclaimed.
