Rajasthan Government Transfers 17 IPS Officers, Changes SPs in Seven Districts

Jaipur, May 20: The Rajasthan government has executed a significant reshuffle in the police department, transferring 17 IPS officers and changing the Superintendents of Police (SPs) in seven districts.

The late-night reshuffle on Tuesday affected the districts of Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, Didwana-Kuchaman, Nagaur, Tonk, Bharatpur, and Dausa.

As part of these transfers, Harendra Kumar Mahawar has been appointed as the Inspector General (IG) of the Kota range, a position that had been vacant. Manish Tripathi has been moved from the SP position in Chittorgarh to become the SP of the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) in Jaipur.

Dharmendra Singh, previously serving as the SP of Bhilwara, has now been appointed as the SP of Chittorgarh. Sagar, who was the SP of Dausa, will now take charge as the new SP of Bhilwara. Similarly, Gyan Chandra Yadav, who was working in the ATS, has been appointed as the SP of Didwana-Kuchaman.

The outgoing SP of Didwana-Kuchaman, Richa Tomar, has been transferred to Delhi as the Commandant of the 11th Battalion of the RAC.

Tonk SP Rajesh Kumar Meena has been appointed as the SP of Bharatpur, while Roshan Meena has been moved from the SP position in Nagaur to become the SP of Tonk.

Piyush Dixit, who was previously serving as the SP in the ACB in Jaipur, has now been appointed as the SP of Dausa.

Lata Manoj Kumar has been transferred from the ADG (Civil Rights, Anti-Human Trafficking, and Community Policing) position to ADG (Community Policing and Public Grievances).

KB Vandana, who was awaiting her posting after returning from central deputation on April 29, has been appointed as IG, CID (Crime Branch), Jaipur.

Param Jyoti has been transferred from IG (Crime) at the police headquarters to IG (RAC), Jaipur. Kaluram Rawat has been moved from IG (Civil Rights and Anti-Human Trafficking) to IG (Telecommunications).

This recent reshuffle has seen some officers transferred once again in a very short span. Both Harendra Kumar Mahawar and Kaluram Rawat were previously transferred on February 23. Likewise, Piyush Dixit, who was appointed as SP in the ACB on March 19, has now been sent to Dausa in just two months.

After serving as DIG (Civil Rights) at the police headquarters, Shweta Dhankhar has been appointed as DIG, RAC, Jaipur.

Bhuvan Bhushan Yadav has been transferred from DIG, ACB, Bikaner to DIG, SOG, Jaipur.

Gordhan Lal Saunkaria has been moved from SP (Law and Order) at the police headquarters to SP, ACB, Jaipur.

Ashima Vaswani has been transferred from SP, Mavli to ASP, Bharatpur City.

Additionally, ADG (Police Headquarters) Hawa Singh Ghumaria has been given the additional charge of ADG (Civil Rights and Anti-Human Trafficking).
