
New Delhi, March 18: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma met with several central ministers and senior BJP leaders on Tuesday in New Delhi. The discussions focused on state development, welfare schemes, and enhancing cooperation between the central and state governments.
During his meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, CM Sharma addressed issues related to law and order and ongoing development projects. He emphasized that collaboration between the center and state has significantly propelled Rajasthan forward, with the center’s guidance being invaluable.
In a meeting with Union Health Minister JP Nadda, the conversation revolved around improving health services, developing hospitals, and effectively implementing the Ayushman Bharat scheme. The Chief Minister stated that providing quality health services is the government’s top priority.
Additionally, he met with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to discuss Rajasthan’s economic growth, inclusive development for all sectors, and strengthening infrastructure. He also expressed gratitude for the central government’s support.
CM Sharma congratulated Union Minister for Water Power CR Patil on his birthday and discussed water-related initiatives, including the Ram Jal Setu Link Project and the Jal Jeevan Mission. He reiterated the state government’s commitment to ensuring clean and safe drinking water for all, especially in remote areas.
Furthermore, he met with Union Minister for Food and Public Distribution Prahlad Joshi to strengthen the public distribution system, protect consumer interests, and promote renewable energy.
In a meeting with Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, they discussed the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020, promoting foreign languages, and enhancing employment-related education for youth. The Chief Minister emphasized the goal of “Educated State, Advanced State.”
During this visit, he also met with BJP National General Secretary (Organization) B.L. Santosh to discuss strengthening the party organization and guiding workers.
The Chief Minister stated that under the “Double Engine Government,” improved coordination between the center and state is driving Rajasthan’s progress in development, good governance, and public welfare. He expressed confidence that continued support from the central government would ensure the effective implementation of schemes, directly benefiting the state’s residents.
