Rahul Dravid and Mithali Raj Honored with Lifetime Achievement Award

New Delhi, March 16: Former head coach of Team India, Rahul Dravid, has been awarded the Colonel C.K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award. Under Dravid’s leadership, the Indian team clinched the T20 World Cup title in 2024. This prestigious recognition was presented at the BCCI Naman Awards, acknowledging his significant contributions to Indian cricket.

Rahul Dravid took charge as head coach in November 2021. His tenure concluded after leading Team India to the T20 World Cup victory in 2024. During his time, the team also reached the finals of the 2023 ODI World Cup. Alongside Dravid, former captain of the Indian women’s cricket team, Mithali Raj, also received the Lifetime Achievement Award. Additionally, former BCCI president Roger Binny was honored with the same award.

Shubman Gill, the captain of the ODI and Test teams, was named the Best International Cricketer for 2024-25. Smriti Mandhana secured the Best Women’s International Cricketer award for the fifth time. Harshit Rana was recognized as the Best International Debut, while the Best International Debut Player in women’s cricket went to N. Shree Chaitra.
