Punjab Kings has now failed to defend a target of over 200 runs for the eighth time in IPL history. Despite scoring more than 200 runs on the scoreboard, they have become the team with the most instances of losing matches in such situations. This unfortunate record surpasses that of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), who have failed to defend a 200-plus target seven times.
