Noida, March 24: The district administration in Gautam Buddh Nagar is fully engaged in preparations for the upcoming inauguration of the Noida International Airport in Jewar. On Tuesday, the District Magistrate conducted an on-site inspection of the venue and reviewed the arrangements with relevant officials.
During the inspection, the District Magistrate closely examined the stage setup, rally site, parking, VIP and VVIP access, security management, and traffic arrangements.
The District Magistrate instructed officials to prioritize the convenience of guests and the general public, ensuring that all preparations are completed on time. He emphasized the importance of cleanliness, drinking water, restroom facilities, lighting, and other essential services. Special attention was also given to enhancing security measures, including signage at parking areas, entry and exit points, and major routes, along with CCTV monitoring.
Following the inspection, a crucial review meeting was held at the Collectorate auditorium, chaired by the District Magistrate. In this meeting, officials from all relevant departments reviewed the preparations in detail and assigned responsibilities by department.
The District Magistrate made it clear that any negligence at any level would not be tolerated, and all tasks must be completed within the set timelines. The meeting extensively discussed arrangements related to security, traffic management, parking, route management, medical facilities, fire safety, power supply, cleanliness, drinking water, barricading, public announcement systems, CCTV monitoring, and control room operations.
He directed that all preparations for the venue, helipad, parking, and access routes be completed on time to avoid any inconvenience during the event. The District Magistrate also instructed that given the expected attendance of numerous public representatives, entrepreneurs, senior officials, media representatives, and the general public, all arrangements should be meticulously organized.
Additionally, there was an emphasis on extensive publicity for the event to ensure maximum participation in this significant occasion. Senior officials from the district administration, authority, and police department were present at the meeting.
Officials were directed to continuously monitor the preparations and ensure immediate resolution of any issues, aiming for a successful, well-organized, and dignified inauguration of the Noida International Airport.
