New Delhi, September 25 (Udaipur Kiran News): Poco has officially announced that its upcoming flagship smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s newly launched Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The chip, revealed earlier today, is set to drive the next generation of Android flagships, starting with the Xiaomi 17 series in China.

While Poco has not disclosed the exact name of the device, industry insiders suggest that the processor could debut with the Poco F8 Ultra, continuing the lineup’s tradition. Last year’s Poco F7 Ultra carried the predecessor of this flagship chipset.
The Poco F8 Pro, on the other hand, is expected to be a rebranded version of the upcoming Redmi K90. Reports indicate that the K90 will feature a 6.59-inch flat RGB OLED LTPS display with 2K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Powering the device could be a 7,100mAh battery with 100W fast charging, along with dual stereo speakers, a premium metal frame, and an x-axis linear motor for enhanced haptic feedback.
If the Poco F8 series mirrors the Redmi K90 lineup, these specifications are likely to carry forward. For now, Poco is keeping the details under wraps, with an official launch expected soon.
