Patna, August 15: On the occasion of Independence Day, Union Minister and LJP (Ram Vilas) National President Chirag Paswan emphasized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s development initiatives.
In a conversation with reporters on Saturday, Paswan remarked that a comparison of Modi’s achievements over the past 12 years with the Congress’s 70 years in power reveals a significant difference. He noted that this should be viewed analytically, while also considering the population growth during both tenures.
According to him, given the current rate of population growth, it is crucial to assess whether the fundamental development is adequate for the existing population. If it is not, we must understand what steps need to be taken in the future. He stressed the importance of devising a comprehensive plan to improve the current situation, believing that this will lead to a positive outcome in the coming days.
Paswan expressed confidence that the timeline set by Prime Minister Modi for realizing the dream of a developed India will be met, stating that every effort is being made to achieve this goal.
Additionally, he addressed the issue of Naxalism. He pointed out that while the physical presence of Naxalism has diminished, there are still “intellectual Naxals” who attempt to create chaos in society. These individuals are fearful of India’s potential emergence as a global power and are working to undermine the vision of a developed nation, which the public will not tolerate.
He emphasized the need to identify those who may seek to disrupt progress, as they pose obstacles to development. Overall, the Prime Minister has sent a message to the citizens to remain vigilant against such elements.
