New Delhi, March 26: BJP spokesperson RP Singh expressed his delight over a recent survey conducted by an American firm, which named PM Modi as the world’s most popular leader. Singh attributed this popularity to Modi’s effective policies, noting that this is not the first time he has topped such surveys. Whenever ratings are released by any agency, PM Modi consistently ranks at the top.
In a conversation in New Delhi, Singh responded to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s statements. He remarked that Banerjee is the same leader who once halted Ram Navami processions and previously allowed a Muharram procession to take place instead of the Durga Puja immersion.
Addressing comments made by External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar during an all-party meeting, Singh asserted that India cannot become like Pakistan. He highlighted that Pakistan is willing to do anything, recalling an incident where a Pakistani field marshal recently approached former U.S. President Donald Trump with a bag of minerals, suggesting that Pakistan engages in such dealings. Singh emphasized that India has its own stance and the opposition should understand this.
Responding to concerns about the LPG crisis, Singh stated that there is currently no LPG shortage in India. He assured that gas is being provided to the public and that PNG connections are being expanded. As PNG usage increases, the consumption of LPG is expected to decrease.
In reaction to statements made by UP Congress President Ajay Rai, Singh claimed that Rai is making incorrect statements. He mentioned that Rai recently met with Azam Khan and is now claiming he is being denied access.
Singh clarified that legal actions against Azam Khan are being pursued based on court decisions, asserting that these individuals are all connected and have engaged in corruption during their time in power.
