Malda Division Launches Awareness Campaign for Railwan App Usage

Malda, March 28: The Malda Division organized an awareness campaign on Saturday to promote the use of the ‘Railwan App’ among passengers at the New Farakka, Barharwa, and Karanpurato railway stations.

This initiative was conducted under the guidance of Malda’s Divisional Railway Manager, Manish Kumar Gupta, and supervised by Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Karthik Singh.

During the event at New Farakka railway station, the station superintendent and commercial staff engaged with passengers, encouraging them to travel as real passengers. They also motivated travelers to adopt the ‘Railwan App’ for accessing various railway services in a convenient and digital manner.

Similarly, at Barharwa and Karanpurato railway stations, commercial inspectors collaborated with commercial staff to interact with actual travelers, raising awareness about the benefits and usage of the ‘Railwan App’.

Passengers were informed about the app’s key features, including booking reserved and unreserved tickets, real-time train information, checking PNR status, viewing coach status, booking platform tickets, and receiving assistance through ‘Rail Help’.

Travelers were also encouraged to download and use the app for a more convenient, transparent, and hassle-free travel experience.
