New Delhi, June 13: Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the significant role of youth in shaping the future of India and the world during a recent address. He stated that the NDA government is strongly advancing youth-led development initiatives.
On the occasion of the NDA government’s 12-year anniversary, PM Modi highlighted the various government programs aimed at empowering the youth. He expressed his delight in witnessing young Indians contribute to sectors that will define the future.
In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, PM Modi remarked, “The NDA government is firmly committed to youth-led development. Over the past 12 years, a notable aspect has been the confidence with which Indian youth have pursued their aspirations. Initiatives like ‘Startup India’, ‘Digital India’, ‘Skill India’, and ‘Atal Innovation Mission’ have created an ecosystem that fosters innovation, entrepreneurship, and enterprise.”
He added, “Today, India is one of the leading startup destinations globally, with many success stories being written by our youth, even from small towns and villages.”
The Prime Minister noted that young Indians are making their mark in diverse fields, including science and technology, manufacturing, space, semiconductors, and drones. He expressed happiness at their contributions to sectors that will shape the future of the nation and the world.
Additionally, PM Modi commended the achievements of youth in sports. He wrote in his post, “Our youth have also elevated the nation’s stature in sports. Young Indian athletes have consistently brought pride to the country in various international competitions.”
He pointed out that a robust sports ecosystem, improved infrastructure, and increased support for athletes are creating new opportunities for young talents and encouraging them to embrace sports.
