
Noida, May 6: A minor parking dispute in Noida’s Expressway area turned violent, leading to an assault on an elderly man inside a shop. In a swift response, police have arrested three suspects, while efforts to locate additional individuals involved are ongoing.
On May 5, 2026, the victim, a resident of Wajidpur village, filed a complaint at the Expressway police station. He reported that Sanjay Chauhan, Colonel Chauhan, Deepanshu Chauhan, and Prakash (son of Sanjay Chauhan), along with some unidentified individuals, entered his shop following a parking disagreement and assaulted his father. The assailants not only physically attacked them but also threatened them with death while using abusive language.
Based on the victim’s complaint, the Expressway police registered a case and initiated an investigation. Given the seriousness of the incident, police acted promptly, arresting three suspects from Nangli Wajidpur on May 6, 2026. The arrested individuals have been identified as Colonel (35 years old), son of Kaluram, Deepanshu Chauhan (23 years old), son of Surendra, and Akshit (26 years old), son of Gajendra. All suspects are residents of Nangli Wajidpur, Noida.
According to police officials, efforts are underway to identify and apprehend other individuals involved in the incident. A thorough investigation is ongoing to ensure strict legal action against all offenders.
The police have urged the public to seek assistance rather than take the law into their own hands in case of disputes, to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.
