Specialists from GBH Udaipur Hospital Provide Free Health Checkups and Consultations

Udaipur, April 2, 2025: Hindustan Zinc Limited, Zinc Smelter Debari, in collaboration with Mamta HIMC, organized a Mega Health Camp under their Rural Health Initiative in Kharbadiya village. Medical experts from GBH Udaipur Hospital extended their support to provide free health services and consultations to the rural community.

More than 200 residents from Kharbadiya, Matoon, and Kanpur Khada villages near Zinc Smelter Debari and Matoon Mines benefited from this comprehensive healthcare initiative.

Specialized Medical Services Offered Free of Charge

A team of specialist doctors provided extensive medical examinations and consultations covering a wide range of health conditions. Key services provided during the camp included:

  • ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) examinations for issues related to hearing, speech, and respiratory conditions.

  • Orthopedic assessments for bone, joint, and muscle-related ailments.

  • General physician consultations addressing common illnesses like fever, infections, and blood pressure problems.

  • Gynecological consultations ensuring women’s health and wellness.

  • Dermatological checkups addressing skin-related concerns.

  • Diagnostic testing for blood pressure, blood sugar, and hemoglobin levels.

All attendees received necessary medical treatments and medicines completely free of cost, according to their individual health assessments.

The beneficiaries praised Hindustan Zinc for organizing the health camp and requested regular future events to facilitate continued access to quality healthcare services.

Local dignitaries and officials, including village Sarpanch Lokesh Gameti, Deputy Sarpanch Ganesh Patel, PEEO Rajesh Sainik, school principals Kaushalya and Harish Bhatt, Matoon Mines Manager Ravi Dave, AGM Ramlal Sharma, and Head of CSR at Zinc Smelter Debari Aruna Cheeta, were present.
