London, September 1 (Kiran News). Oval Invincibles have secured their third consecutive ‘The Hundred’ title, defeating Trent Rockets by 26 runs in a historic final held on Sunday night. The victory was powered by standout performances from Will Jacks (72 runs) and Nathan Sowter (3/25), who played decisive roles for their team.

Batting first, the Invincibles posted a total of 168/5. Will Jacks scored a brilliant 72 off 41 balls, hitting 7 fours and 4 sixes, while Jordan Cox added 40 runs. The duo stitched together a crucial 87-run partnership. Although Rockets’ bowlers staged a late comeback, conceding only 25 runs in the last few overs, the Invincibles still set a strong target.
Trent Rockets had a slow start in their chase, managing only 32 runs in the powerplay. Nathan Sowter turned the match in the middle overs, dismissing Joe Root (10), Rehan Ahmed, and Tom Banton, reducing Rockets to 37/3.
David Willey and Marcus Stoinis then tried to stabilise the innings. Stoinis fought hard, scoring 64 off 38 balls, and was supported by Ross Whiteley in a 38-run partnership. However, the increasing run rate proved too much, with 33 runs needed off the final over, which could not be achieved. The Rockets finished at 142/8.
