Orhan Awatramani Stands Firm on His Identity Amid Controversy

Mumbai, May 13: Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Ori, is making headlines again, thanks to his close ties with star kids and his unique style. Currently, he is in the spotlight for participating in the reality show “Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 15.” In a candid conversation, Ori discussed his identity and emphasized that he has built it through hard work. He stated that he is unfazed by the potential loss of brand deals or public disapproval.

Ori expressed, “I always speak my mind. Many people fear that expressing their thoughts might harm their image or lead to misunderstandings, but I don’t think that way. I often don’t even know what my next word will be. I believe in being open and not hiding my thoughts.”

He further elaborated, “Since my straightforward nature has brought me popularity, why should I try to change? I believe that many individuals in public life start concealing their true thoughts due to fear of repercussions on their careers. However, I will not alter my personality based on public opinion.”

Ori also addressed the prevalent fear in the industry, where artists worry that their statements might lead to negative consequences. He remarked, “Many believe that making a controversial statement could jeopardize their brand deals or opportunities in films. I am not concerned about these issues because I am not chasing roles in films. If a director, producer, or brand dislikes my opinion, I will not change it.”

Regarding “cancel culture,” Ori noted, “Nowadays, people on social media are quick to troll or boycott someone. I am not afraid of this because I have built my identity on my own. I am not a cricket star, TV star, or film star who has had prior support from the public. I have reached this level through hard work and perseverance.”

He added, “People only see success on social media but fail to understand the effort and struggle behind it. I have worked tirelessly to achieve my goals. What they don’t see is how early I wake up and the daily challenges I face. When a person’s success is a result of their own hard work, they cannot be easily ‘canceled’.”
