On this occasion, renowned sand artist Manas Kumar Sahu has created a special sand animation in his studio. This artwork, completed in just 10 minutes, highlights the strength and achievements of women. It also conveys a powerful message of women’s empowerment, equality, and world peace.
The animation features inspiring Indian women. Sahu mentioned figures like President Droupadi Murmu, the late legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar, Olympic medalist P.V. Sindhu, and Wing Commander Avani Chaturvedi as representatives of women’s success and empowerment. He emphasized that many such women are a source of pride and honor for our country.
Through this sand animation, Manas Sahu has praised the power and contributions of women in building a better society. He stated that the celebration of International Women’s Day is ongoing. “We have created sand animation in Puri through our art. Women play a significant role in societal progress, which we have depicted in this animation,” he said. He added that there are countless examples of women working for society, including doctors, scientists, and pilots, with President Droupadi Murmu being the most prominent example.
He highlighted several women, such as Lata Mangeshkar, P.V. Sindhu, and Wing Commander Avani Chaturvedi, who have made substantial contributions to advancing society. “We have paid tribute to them through our sand animation,” he noted.
