New Delhi, October 14 (Daily Kiran): Nubia is gearing up for the launch of its flagship Z80 Ultra on October 22 in China, and ahead of the event, the company has revealed its dedicated Photography Kit, designed specifically for professional-style mobile photography.

The new Photography Kit features a retro-inspired design with physical control buttons and a quick attachment interface, offering a DSLR-like grip and shooting experience. The handle is crafted from top-grain cowhide leather, giving it a premium and tactile feel. The kit also appears to include interchangeable wide and zoom lens attachments, further emphasizing the device’s photography-first approach.

The Nubia Z80 Ultra is set to feature a triple rear camera setup with a dedicated camera shutter button for instant photo capture. The primary camera will use a 1/1.3-inch Omnivision 990 sensor paired with a 35mm lens, optimized for street and portrait photography.

The device will also include an 18mm equivalent ultra-wide camera with a 1/1.55-inch sensor for expansive shots, and a telephoto lens supporting 50x hybrid zoom with optical image stabilization (OIS).

On the front, the Z80 Ultra will feature an under-display camera, maintaining a clean and uninterrupted display design.

Performance and Battery

Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, promising flagship-level performance. Powering the device will be a 7,100mAh battery, expected to deliver strong endurance even with heavy photography and gaming use.

Design and Features

Recent teasers also confirm the phone’s sleek, metallic finish and multiple color variants, hinting at a premium flagship aesthetic. Nubia has shared several camera samples, showcasing impressive detail, color accuracy, and low-light performance.

Full specifications and pricing details will be announced at the official launch on October 22.
