
Bhopal, June 13: Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) in Singrauli has issued an official notification inviting applications for a total of 1,607 apprentice positions. This recruitment drive includes 241 Graduate Apprentices, 305 Diploma Apprentices, 906 Trade Apprentices (ITI), and 155 Paramedical Apprentices.
The 241 Graduate Apprentice positions comprise 45 in Electrical Engineering, 43 in Mechanical Engineering, 13 in Computer Science and Engineering, 17 in Mining Engineering, 8 in Electronics Engineering, 16 in Civil Engineering, 7 in Information Technology, 58 in Commerce, 7 in Arts (BA), 12 in Law (LLB), and 15 in Computer Applications.
Among the 305 Diploma Apprentice positions, there are 13 in Back Office Management, 29 in Mining Engineering, 67 in Mechanical Engineering, 72 in Electrical Engineering, 12 in Electronics Engineering, 56 in Civil Engineering, 16 in Modern Office Management and Secretarial Practices, 14 in Computer Science/IT, 5 in Environmental Engineering, and 21 in Survey Engineering.
The 906 Trade Apprentice positions include 244 for ITI Electricians, 349 for ITI Fitters, 110 for ITI Welders, 44 for ITI Turners, 43 for ITI Machinists, 63 for ITI Auto Electricians, 32 for ITI Computer Operators and Programming Assistants, 11 for ITI Diesel Mechanics, and 10 for ITI Motor Mechanic Vehicles.
For the 155 Paramedical Apprentice positions, there are 6 for Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy, 30 for Bachelor’s in Nursing, 3 for Bachelor’s in Ayurveda, 3 for Bachelor’s in Optometry, 3 for Bachelor’s in Yoga, 3 for Bachelor’s in Dietetics, 10 for Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, 15 for Diploma in Pharmacy, 10 for Diploma in ECG Technology, 60 for Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery, 10 for Diploma in X-Ray Technology, and 2 for Diploma in Ophthalmic Technology.
The last date for online applications for all these positions is set for June 15. Candidates wishing to apply should submit their registration forms on the official NAPS or NATS portal before the deadline.
Applicants must possess relevant qualifications such as a degree in the related field from a recognized board/institution/university, ITI certificates, or a diploma in the specified areas.
The minimum age for applicants is 18 years, while the maximum age is set at 26 years as of June 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on merit, document verification, and medical examination. Selected candidates will receive a stipend ranging from ₹9,600 to ₹13,700 per month, depending on the position.
