
Noida, August 6: The Gautam Buddh Nagar police are fully prepared to ensure the Kanwar Yatra 2026 is conducted safely and smoothly. Under the guidance of Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh, the police are continuously inspecting the routes, camps, and security arrangements across various areas of the district.
On August 5, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Central Noida, Shailendra Kumar Singh, along with ACP-2 Central Noida, Kamlesh Kant, conducted a thorough inspection of the Kanwar Yatra routes and camps in the Badalpur area. During the inspection, the officials reviewed essential arrangements such as security measures, barricading, traffic management, parking, lighting, cleanliness, availability of drinking water, and medical assistance.
The officials emphasized that the safety and convenience of the devotees should be the top priority during the yatra. Police personnel stationed along the route have been instructed to perform their duties with vigilance, discipline, and sensitivity. They were also reminded to be prepared for any emergency situations and to maintain continuous monitoring of all arrangements.
The inspection campaign continued late into the night, with DCP Shailendra Kumar Singh overseeing ACP-1 Central Noida, Diksha Singh, as she inspected the Kanwar Yatra routes and camps in the Phase-3 and Sector-63 areas. She meticulously reviewed security arrangements, barricading, traffic management, parking, lighting, cleanliness, drinking water, and medical facilities, providing necessary instructions to the relevant officials.
ACP Diksha Singh briefed the police officers and staff on duty, urging them to maintain a cordial relationship with the devotees and ensure prompt action in any situation. She stressed that all police personnel should remain vigilant and responsible at their duty points to ensure the yatra proceeds peacefully and safely.
The Gautam Buddh Nagar police have stated that extensive arrangements for security, traffic management, and the convenience of devotees have been put in place for the Kanwar Yatra. Continuous monitoring is being conducted along the routes, with senior officials personally visiting the sites to assess the arrangements. The police administration aims to ensure that millions of devotees can complete their religious journey without any hindrance while maintaining law and order and smooth traffic flow throughout the district.
