Patna, May 12: Former Bihar Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Nitish Kumar visited the JD(U) office on Tuesday, where he engaged with party workers.
During the interaction, JD(U) state president Umesh Singh Kushwaha stated that Nitish Kumar regularly visits the party office, providing valuable guidance. Under his leadership, the party is progressing, driven by his policies, ideals, and vision.
Kushwaha highlighted Samrat Chaudhary’s efforts, noting that he is advancing the developmental path laid out by Nitish Kumar in Bihar.
He recalled that when Nitish Kumar resigned from the Chief Minister’s position, he made it clear that he would continue to oversee both the party and the government. Kumar remains vigilant in both roles.
Umesh Kushwaha praised the ‘Sahyog Portal,’ calling it a highly beneficial initiative. He suggested that it could be made even more user-friendly to better serve the public. He also commended Samrat Chaudhary for his commendable work.
He announced that ministers and leaders would be present at the JD(U) office to address public grievances. Following Nitish Kumar’s directives, a list of leaders and ministers will be released from Monday to Friday to listen to and resolve issues faced by party workers and the public.
Supporting Prime Minister Modi’s appeal to the citizens, the JD(U) president emphasized the importance of working for the nation’s interest during these challenging times.
In response to Tejashwi Yadav’s comments on the liquor ban law, Kushwaha criticized him for raising irrelevant questions, asserting that those focused solely on vote politics neglect the real issues faced by the people.
He concluded by stating that while they currently hold 25 seats, in the future, their presence in Bihar will diminish significantly.
