Nitish Kumar Unanimously Elected as JD(U) National President

New Delhi, March 24: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has been unanimously elected as the National President of the Janata Dal (United) [JD(U)]. Senior leaders of the party extended their congratulations to the Chief Minister.

Central Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh stated in a media interaction that Nitish Kumar founded the party and has been instrumental in its growth. He emphasized that there is nothing surprising about Kumar’s unanimous election as president.

“He is our undisputed leader. Once he announced his candidacy for the national president position, it was clear he would be elected unopposed. Who would oppose Nitish Kumar?” Singh remarked.

MP Sanjay Jha also conveyed his best wishes, noting that the party has been active in Bihar for 20 years and has brought about significant changes. He highlighted the recent elections, where their alliance achieved a substantial victory. “We all wish him well as he has been elected unopposed. We will visit the party office to collect his certificate,” Jha added.

He mentioned that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will soon take charge as the national president.

JD(U) spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan Prasad congratulated Kumar on his re-election as the party’s national president.

Another spokesperson, Neeraj Kumar, expressed heartfelt congratulations to Nitish Kumar, stating that under his capable leadership and dedication to public service, the organization will become even stronger and set new benchmarks in development and good governance.

Following Kumar’s election, JD(U) shared a message on the social media platform X, congratulating him on his unanimous election as the national president. They expressed confidence that his leadership and commitment to public service would elevate the organization to new heights and establish new records in development and governance.

It is noteworthy that Nitish Kumar recently won in the Rajya Sabha elections held in Bihar.
