Mumbai, March 30: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has resigned from his position as a member of the Bihar Legislative Council on Monday. In response, JD(U) spokesperson Neeraj Kumar stated that no one in Bihar has emerged like Nitish Kumar, nor is anyone currently visible.
Neeraj Kumar emphasized, “He will be remembered as a standard in politics. No one relinquishes their chair for even a day. Nitish Kumar appointed Manjhi to his position and took a break for nine months. Everyone had pledged, ‘From 25 to 30, once again Nitish,’ but he has assured his presence in Bihar politics by resigning from the MLC position. I can confidently say that no one like Nitish Kumar has been born in Bihar, nor is anyone on the horizon.”
Meanwhile, he also launched a sharp attack on Prashant Kishor and Tejashwi Yadav. Neeraj Kumar labeled Prashant Kishor as an inter-state political criminal. He remarked, “Prashant Kumar caused an emergency landing for Tejashwi Yadav. The era of lanterns is over, and despite being a billionaire, you are still availing electricity and subsidies. What issues have arisen with electricity rates? Do you not understand the difference, or has concern clouded your judgment?”
He added, “There is no change in tariffs. The only decision is that morning rates will differ from evening rates. However, 125 units of electricity will remain completely free.”
Neeraj Kumar also criticized the Congress party and Rahul Gandhi. He stated, “Criticizing India’s foreign policy globally and discussing the country’s economic policy and internal conditions abroad indicates that Congress has entered a new era. It is no longer the Congress of Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi.”
Responding to allegations from Mamata Banerjee, Neeraj Kumar said, “She is the Chief Minister of the state. If she is afraid, what will happen to the common people? Indira Gandhi once said that our lives may be at risk, but we cannot worry about that. She fought against terrorism, and the entire country stood with her. Mamata Banerjee, you are indeed at risk in politics. This time, your web of deceit will not work. You are not receiving public support, which is why you seek sympathy. The public does not trust your guarantees.”
Neeraj Kumar also mentioned that Mamata Banerjee has raised the issue of meat and steam as a defense mechanism. He stated, “In Bengal, meat, fish, and eggs will not be banned, but you have not made West Bengal self-reliant in this matter. These are questions the people of the state must be asking. Therefore, you have merely found a defensive argument.”
