Patna, March 28: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s son, Nishant Kumar, is making a significant entrance into politics. Recently, several leaders from the Janata Dal (United) have voiced their support for his potential candidacy for Chief Minister. JD(U) spokesperson and Member of the Legislative Council, Neeraj Kumar, stated on Saturday that the future of the party lies in Nishant’s hands.
Neeraj Kumar emphasized, “The future of JD(U) is in Nishant Kumar’s hands. Every party well-wisher wants to see their leader rise to great heights. Nishant, often referred to as a ‘global thinker,’ is our hope for a climactic leadership.” He even coined a slogan, “Jai Nishant, Tay Nishant, Teer Nishaan, Tay Nishant.”
Addressing discussions about potential successors to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar following his anticipated move to the Rajya Sabha, Kumar remarked that while everyone has the right to express their preferences for the next Chief Minister, consensus will ultimately be reached among NDA coalition partners.
He assured that any future government in Bihar will follow the Nitish model. “The Nitish model is the embodiment of the love and harmony of the people of Bihar,” he asserted. BJP National President Nitin Naveen also affirmed that the government in Bihar will operate under Nitish Kumar’s policies and framework.
Earlier on Saturday, posters were displayed in Patna labeling Nishant Kumar as the “Future Chief Minister.” Supporters of Nitish Kumar put up these posters, urging him not to resign from his position. The posters read, “Why entertain such thoughts when the people of Bihar do not accept that you should leave the Chief Minister’s office?” Accompanying Nishant’s image, the caption stated, “Future CM of Bihar.”
