Nishant Kumars Entry into JD(U) Confirmed After Nitish Kumars Rajya Sabha Decision

Patna, March 6: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s decision to join the Rajya Sabha has stirred significant unrest among JD(U) workers and the public. Following this announcement, a legislative meeting was convened on Friday, where it was confirmed that Nishant Kumar will enter active politics. He is expected to join JD(U) soon and embark on a tour of Bihar, similar to his father.

The meeting included senior party leaders, MPs, ministers, and MLAs. Many legislators expressed their concerns. Nitish Kumar reassured them that there is no need for panic; he will remain connected to Bihar’s development despite being in Delhi.

Minister Shravan Kumar stated that Nitish Kumar shared his perspective during the meeting, emphasizing that the party has always been united and will continue to be. He assured everyone that they would work together to strengthen the party.

Minister Mohammad Jamma Khan expressed affection for their leader, who has served Bihar for 20 years, bringing everyone together. While some disappointment is natural, they stand by the Chief Minister’s decision.

JD(U) leader Manjeet Kumar Singh reiterated that Nitish Kumar has dedicated two decades to advancing Bihar and remains committed to the state. He emphasized that they are not abandoning anyone.

JD(U) MLA Ajit Kumar mentioned that the Chief Minister communicated his decision to all leaders, and they have accepted it with heavy hearts.

MLA Shalini Mishra noted that the Chief Minister explained his desire to join the Rajya Sabha but assured them that he would remain accessible.

Nitish Kumar stated, “I have always been connected and will continue to be. You need not worry. There are people who will lead us. Nishant is expected to join the party soon.”

JD(U) leader Ashok Kumar remarked that the Chief Minister’s decision to join the Rajya Sabha has received unanimous support from all members. Many believe that after Nitish Kumar, his son Nishant should have the opportunity to lead Bihar, given his father’s achievements.

Leader Khalid Anwar mentioned that while Nitish Kumar’s decision has disappointed many party workers and the public, he has assured them of his continued dedication to Bihar’s development.

JD(U) spokesperson Neeraj Kumar highlighted that during the legislative meeting, Minister Shravan Kumar voiced the concerns of the legislators and the public. Nitish Kumar reassured them that his decision to join the Rajya Sabha is personal. Although he will be in Delhi, he remains committed to Bihar’s progress. Nishant Kumar’s joining of JD(U) is imminent, and his responsibilities within the government will be clarified in due course.
