Nishant Kumar Joins JD(U), NDA Leaders Extend Congratulations

Patna, March 8: Celebrations erupted outside the JD(U) office in Patna as party workers rejoiced over the official entry of Nishant Kumar, son of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, into the Janata Dal (United). The workers distributed sweets and celebrated with drums, marking this as a significant moment for the party.

Union Minister Giriraj Singh remarked that it is the right time for Nishant Kumar to enter politics. He highlighted Nitish Kumar’s influential leadership over nearly two decades, which has propelled the state’s development. Singh emphasized that the JD(U) voter base is eager for Nishant Kumar’s political debut, stating, “I believe this is the right time for him to start his political journey.”

JD(U) National General Secretary Manish Verma expressed confidence that Nishant Kumar’s inclusion would strengthen the party. He noted that Nishant’s arrival would inspire the youth and expand the party’s grassroots support.

JD(U) MP Sanjay Jha mentioned that the party leadership will determine Nishant Kumar’s future role, but his joining is a crucial step for the party.

Meanwhile, JD(U) State President Umesh Singh Kushwaha assured that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will remain in Bihar, guiding the party and government. Many party leaders and workers had called for Nishant Kumar’s inclusion.

JD(U) leader Subhash Chandra stated that they would work to promote Nishant Kumar’s ideas and policies. JD(U) leader Ajay Kumar Patel added that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is a national leader, and all his decisions are in the best interest of Bihar. He affirmed that Nishant Kumar’s joining will prove beneficial for society and the state. Patel announced that Nishant will officially join JD(U) on Sunday, further strengthening the organization.
