Mumbai, April 2: On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, numerous temples are hosting special prayers and rituals. Alongside the general public, many stars from the film industry are also seen worshipping the revered deity. Among them, actress Nimrat Kaur visited the ancient Sankat Mochan Temple in Kashi, where she expressed her spiritual experience.
Nimrat Kaur shared her visit to the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple on Instagram, conveying her emotions about this significant occasion. She wrote, “Today, on the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, I want to share a priceless experience I had in Kashi. This journey reflects the history we worship today.”
She began her journey at the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, known for its legends where saint Tulsidas reportedly had visions of Lord Hanuman. Following this, she visited Tulsi Ghat, a serene place filled with spiritual energy. Nimrat described it as “one of the most peaceful and spiritual locations I have ever visited.”
In a delightful coincidence, she also encountered the ‘Tulsi Akhara’ next to Tulsi Ghat. The wrestlers here maintain a balance of spiritual discipline and physical strength, showing unwavering devotion to Lord Hanuman. Nimrat was amazed by the fitness and flexibility of the 78-year-old master of the Akhara, stating, “He embodied the essence of the Hanuman Chalisa verse, ‘Nase rog harai sab peera, japat nirantar Hanumat beera.’”
Feeling blessed to witness the place where Goswami Tulsidas composed the Ramcharitmanas and Hanuman Chalisa, she remarked, “The incredible confluence of history, legends, tradition, sacrifice, devotion, and discipline here is truly unparalleled.”
At the end of her post, Nimrat Kaur extended heartfelt wishes to everyone for Hanuman Jayanti.
