Hombale Films Unveils Mahavatar Parshuram Poster and Teaser on Parshuram Jayanti

Mumbai, April 19: Indian cinema is currently witnessing a surge in mythological stories and large-scale productions. Audiences are increasingly drawn to films that offer compelling narratives, stunning visuals, and cultural connections. This trend has prompted filmmakers to focus on creating new cinematic universes.

In this context, Hombale Films is back in the spotlight, having previously delivered major hits like ‘KGF’, ‘Salaar’, and ‘Kantara’. The production house has now heightened fans’ excitement with another significant project.

On the occasion of Parshuram Jayanti, Hombale Films has shared the first look of their new project, ‘Mahavatar Parshuram’. This film is part of the ‘Mahavatar Cinematic Universe’, which is expected to be a grand project based on the ten avatars of Lord Vishnu.

This is the second film in this universe, following the successful ‘Mahavatar Narasimha’, which received a positive response from audiences, further increasing anticipation for the next installment.

The makers have unveiled the first poster and teaser on their social media platform, Instagram. The poster showcases Parshuram in a powerful stance, ready to protect dharma. Accompanying the post, the makers wrote, “When adharma increases in the world, a power emerges to eliminate it.”

The teaser is equally impressive, crafted with visual effects and animation that enhance the viewing experience. The background music adds a unique touch. In the teaser, the creators depict Lord Parshuram as a warrior dedicated to upholding righteousness.

The announcement of this project on Parshuram Jayanti has further fueled audience enthusiasm. Regarding the film’s release, the makers have confirmed that ‘Mahavatar Parshuram’ is set to hit theaters in December 2027, though the exact date has yet to be revealed.

Directed by Ashwin Kumar, this film will be released in Hindi, English, and several other languages.
