New Delhi, December 1 – The investigation into the blast near Delhi’s Red Fort has intensified further. On Monday morning, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted extensive search operations at 10 locations across Jammu and Kashmir. These raids were carried out in Pulwama, Shopian and several surrounding areas, aimed at gathering evidence and investigating the role of individuals connected to the blast.

The investigating agency raided the house of Mufti Irfan Ahmad Wagh in Shopian and the homes of Dr. Adeel Ahmad Rathar, Dr. Muazzamil Shakeel and Amir Rashid in Pulwama. According to sources, the investigating agency is searching for digital evidence, documents and any objectionable material.

On Saturday, a Delhi court extended the NIA custody of four accused arrested in the case for 10 days. The four arrested accused include Dr. Muazzamil Shakeel, Dr. Shaheen Said, Mufti Irfan Ahmad Wagh and Dr. Adeel Ahmad Rathar.

After getting permission from the court, all accused were taken from Patiala House Court to NIA headquarters, where intensive interrogation continues.

On November 10, a car suddenly exploded near Red Fort Metro Station close to Delhi’s Red Fort. In this blast that occurred at 6:52 PM, 13 people died while several were seriously injured. The entire area was shaken by car debris and mutilated bodies at the incident site.

The investigation revealed that this attack was carried out by the ‘White Collar Terror Network’, which was said to be connected to the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammad. Even before the blast, arrests had been made in several states and clues about the ‘Interstate Module’ began emerging.

The NIA has arrested 7 people so far in this case. The blast car was being driven by Dr. Umar Mohammad. This car was registered in the name of Amir Rashid Ali, who is now in the custody of the investigating agency.

Among the accused, Dr. Shakeel belongs to Pulwama, Dr. Rathar to Anantnag, Wagh to Shopian and Dr. Shaheen Said belongs to Lucknow. These people played important roles in carrying out the attack.

Meanwhile, accused Jaseer Bilal Wani provided technical help to the terrorist and Shoeb allegedly gave shelter to Umar and provided logistic support some time before the blast, who have already been taken into custody.

The NIA’s continuous raids make it clear that the agency is now taking faster steps to dismantle this entire module from its roots.
