Guwahati, September 1: A promising opportunity has emerged for those seeking employment in the education sector. The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Medical College and Hospital in Guwahati has officially announced vacancies for 33 teaching faculty positions on a contract basis across various departments.
The 33 vacancies include 6 positions for Professors, 13 for Associate Professors, and 14 for Assistant Professors. The departments hiring for these positions include Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Orthopedics, and Anesthesia for Professors; and Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Community Medicine, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Psychiatry, General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Anesthesia, Radiodiagnosis, and Medical Oncology for Associate Professors. Additionally, there are positions in Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, General Medicine, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Anesthesia, and Statistics, with 2 posts each in Radiodiagnosis, Accident and Emergency, and ICU.
Candidates will be selected based on a walk-in interview and document verification. The monthly salaries for the selected candidates will be ₹67,700 for Professors, ₹78,800 for Associate Professors, and ₹1,18,500 for Assistant Professors. Other benefits and allowances will also be provided.
Applicants attending the interview must meet the educational qualifications, skills, and experience as per NSC guidelines. The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 69 years.
The walk-in interview will take place on September 15, starting at 10 AM, at the ‘Dean’s Office, ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Beltola, Guwahati-781022.’ Candidates are advised to report to the venue between 9 AM and 9:30 AM. Eligible candidates should arrive on time and bring a hard copy of the completed application form along with all relevant documents in original and photocopy.
