New Delhi, August 3 (H.S.): The NEET PG 2025 examination, the eligibility test for admission to postgraduate medical courses in the country, commenced on Sunday morning at various centres under strict security arrangements. Conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), this exam determines admissions into MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses in government and private medical colleges across India.

The exam began at 9:00 AM and will conclude at 12:30 PM. Entry to the exam centres was closed at 8:30 AM. NEET PG is held in computer-based mode, and lakhs of candidates appear for this competitive examination each year.
Following the declaration of results, the NEET PG 2025 counselling process will begin, through which qualified candidates will secure seats in various postgraduate medical programmes. NEET PG remains the sole entrance examination for admission into these courses.
The Central Government and NBEMS have implemented strict security measures at all examination centres. CCTV cameras have been installed, and biometric attendance for candidates has been made mandatory to ensure transparency and prevent any malpractice.
