NDA Leaders Unite at Iftar Gathering, Strengthening Bihars Unity

Patna, March 19: A grand Iftar gathering was held at the residence of Union Minister and Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) leader Jitan Ram Manjhi in Patna on Thursday. Several prominent political figures from Bihar attended the event.

During the gathering, Bihar government minister Ram Kripal Yadav expressed, “Manjhi is our respected leader. He invited us for Iftar, and we celebrated together. This is the beauty of Bihar. Today marks the first day of Navratri, and I wish everyone well. I also extend my greetings to those observing Ramadan. This reflects our Ganga-Jamuni culture, symbolizing brotherhood, love, and unity. This is why our nation remains strong.”

Minister Sanjay Kumar Singh described the Iftar party as a symbol of the NDA coalition’s strength. He stated, “All NDA constituent parties come together through such gatherings, allowing everyone to connect and exchange greetings. The Iftar party serves as a reason for unity among us. In contrast, the Grand Alliance has not organized any Holi or Iftar celebrations, which is why we secured all five Rajya Sabha seats. Their internal disagreements led to their legislators not voting cohesively.”

Bihar Assembly Speaker Prem Kumar expressed his joy, saying, “I am immensely happy to be at the Iftar party hosted by Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi. This event takes place every year, and I was invited this time. It brings me joy to be here, and I want to congratulate all those observing the fast.”

The Iftar gathering showcased the unity of the NDA in Bihar’s political landscape. Leaders attending the event emphasized that the simultaneous celebration of Ramadan and Navratri sends a strong message of cultural harmony. This occasion at Manjhi’s residence became a symbol of mutual respect and cooperation among political leaders.
