NDA Claims Victory in Bihar MLC Elections, Minister Expresses Concerns Over Tragic Blast

Bihar Minister Ramkripal Yadav asserts NDAs assured win in MLC elections while addressing a tragic blast incident in Siwan.

Patna, October 24 (Daily Kiran) : Bihar’s Minister Ramkripal Yadav confidently asserted that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will secure victory in all seats of the upcoming Member of Legislative Council (MLC) elections. Speaking in Patna, he stated that the opposition will soon realize the NDA’s strength in the elections.

Yadav emphasized that the elections for the Bihar Legislative Council’s graduate and teacher constituencies have concluded, predicting a decisive win for the NDA across all eight seats. He remarked, “The results will be out on October 27, and it will be clear who is winning and who is losing.”

In a pointed critique of opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav, Yadav noted that he would never admit to his candidates facing defeat. The minister expressed confidence that the NDA’s success would be evident to the public soon.

Addressing a tragic incident in Siwan, where an explosion at a firecracker factory resulted in the deaths of four individuals, Yadav described the event as “sad, painful, and concerning.” He revealed that reports indicated illegal firecracker production at the site, assuring that the government will not tolerate such activities. An investigation is underway, and strict action will be taken against those found responsible.

Yadav also commented on the controversy surrounding the “Free Kashmir” slogans found on the walls of Jamia Millia Islamia, labeling them as objectionable. He condemned those who promote divisive narratives, asserting that the university will investigate and take action against any individuals involved.

Finally, regarding the recent directive from Kerala’s new governor, Om Prakash Mathur, to serve only vegetarian meals at the Raj Bhavan, Yadav defended the freedom of choice in food. He stated, “Everyone has the right to express their preferences in food and culture. It’s unfortunate that some are targeting the Raj Bhavan without valid issues to raise.”
