NDA Claims Victory in Bihar Legislative Council Elections Amidst Final Campaign Push
As the campaign for Bihars Legislative Council elections concludes, the NDA asserts confidence in winning all eight seats.

Patna, October 21 (Daily Kiran) : The political landscape in Bihar is heating up as the elections for eight seats in the Legislative Council approach their final hours. Wednesday marks the last day of campaigning, with all political parties intensifying efforts to secure victories for their candidates before the polls close this evening. Leaders from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) are confidently claiming a substantial win across all eight seats.
Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, the Deputy Chief Minister and a senior leader of the Janata Dal (United), stated that the atmosphere in the state favors the NDA, which he believes will triumph in every contest. He emphasized that he has toured the state to gauge the electoral climate, asserting, “We have traveled extensively. The prevailing atmosphere suggests that all eight NDA candidates will win by significant margins.”
Chaudhary’s remarks reflect the NDA’s strong confidence as the campaign enters its final phase. The competition among various political parties for these eight seats remains intense, with candidates and their supporters working diligently to reach out to voters.
In a unique approach, NDA candidate Naval Kishore Yadav from the Patna Teachers’ constituency shared his perspective on the election campaign. He expressed that his preparation is largely in the hands of his voters and the teaching community. “I have complete faith in my voters and feel no need for extensive campaigning,” Yadav noted. “My voters and teachers have already made all the necessary arrangements. I prefer to stay in my office and meet people rather than campaign extensively in the field.”
Yadav described the teaching community as both aware and intellectually capable, emphasizing their ability to advocate for their own dignity and educational rights. He stated that teachers do not require additional persuasion or information, as they are already conscious of their interests and rights.
He further highlighted that teachers are capable of making decisions regarding their honor and self-respect, asserting that they constitute the most intellectual community in the country. According to Yadav, there is no need for extra communication or explanation with them.
As the final campaigning hours tick away, the focus remains on how voters will respond to the candidates’ messages and promises at the polls.
