Mira Rajput Confirms Family Is Complete, Dismisses Third Child Rumors
Mira Rajput clarifies that she and Shahid Kapoor do not plan to have a third child, stating their family is complete.
Mumbai, October 30 (Daily Kiran) : Mira Rajput, wife of Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor, has addressed speculation regarding the couple expanding their family. In a recent appearance on Kareena Kapoor Khan’s chat show, “What Women Want,” Mira stated that they do not intend to have a third child, affirming that their family is complete.
During the show, which features candid discussions about marriage, relationships, and personal lives, a promo clip showcased a light-hearted exchange between Mira and Kareena. Kareena asked Mira about the strangest rumor she has heard about herself, to which Mira replied that there are frequent rumors about her and Shahid expecting a third child. In a playful manner, Kareena remarked, “That could be possible,” to which Mira quickly responded, “Absolutely not, our family is complete.”
Previously, Kareena shared a picture with Mira from the show’s set on her Instagram story, calling her a lovely person. Mira expressed her gratitude to Kareena for inviting her on the show when she reshared the post.
This interaction has garnered attention, especially since Kareena and Shahid were once in a relationship, making them one of Bollywood’s most talked-about couples. Their romance began during the filming of “Fida” in 2004, and they subsequently worked together on films like “Chup Chup Ke,” “36 China Town,” and “Jab We Met.” However, their relationship ended during the shooting of “Jab We Met” in 2007.
Kareena married actor Saif Ali Khan in October 2012, and they have two sons, Taimur and Jeh. Shahid Kapoor tied the knot with Mira Rajput in July 2015, and the couple has two children, daughter Misha and son Zain.
