Lucknow, March 19: Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar recently discussed the significant changes in Uttar Pradesh as the state marks nine years under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He attributed this transformation to Adityanath’s effective governance.
In an interview, Rajbhar stated that the state has witnessed comprehensive development during Adityanath’s tenure. He noted that the overall landscape of Uttar Pradesh has changed dramatically. Previously, every district was plagued by mafia presence, but now, each district boasts an established industry. This stark contrast highlights the differences between the governance of the BJP and the Samajwadi Party (SP). Rajbhar emphasized that the positive changes in the state are beyond mere words.
He criticized the SP’s rule, claiming it was marked by mafia control and lawlessness. In contrast, he asserted that the current government has eradicated mafia influence and is fostering an environment of development. Rajbhar affirmed that the government remains committed to progress and will not compromise on development initiatives.
Rajbhar pointed out that during the SP’s governance, riots and curfews were common. However, under Adityanath, such disturbances have ceased. The current situation is stable, with ongoing development projects. He mentioned that any criminal activity is swiftly dealt with, ensuring that offenders are apprehended within 24 hours. The government is resolute in maintaining law and order in the state.
The minister also highlighted the government’s focus on basic infrastructure development. He noted that expressway construction is progressing rapidly, improving connectivity between districts. Additionally, major railway stations are being beautified, with construction projects underway in various districts.
Furthermore, Rajbhar emphasized the government’s commitment to farmers’ welfare. He stated that payments to sugarcane farmers during the current administration have tripled compared to the previous regime, demonstrating the government’s dedication to agricultural interests.
He remarked that the business community now operates without fear, a stark contrast to the apprehension felt during the SP’s rule, where shopkeepers feared theft after dark.
In summary, Rajbhar asserted that the BJP government has successfully dispelled the atmosphere of fear created during the SP’s tenure, allowing businesses to thrive and contribute significantly to the state’s development.
