MCL Announces 667 Job Vacancies: Application Process Starts March 16

New Delhi, February 21: Millions of young people in the country aspire to secure government jobs. If you are one of them, then Mahandi Coalfields Limited (MCL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has released an official notification for the recruitment of 667 positions.

The online application process will commence at 10 AM on March 16 and will close at 11:50 PM on April 6. Eligible and interested candidates can apply on the official website within this timeframe.

The vacancies announced by MCL include positions such as Junior Overman (192 posts), Mining Sardar (448 posts), Surveyor (24 posts), Translator (1 post), and Technician (Pathology) (2 posts).

Candidates must possess a diploma or degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized institution or university, along with a BA in Hindi and English, and a diploma in Pathology. Additionally, candidates must meet other specified eligibility criteria.

The minimum age for applicants is set at 18 years, while the maximum age is capped at 30 years, calculated as of April 6, 2026. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government rules.

Selection will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) and document verification. General, OBC, and EWS candidates are required to pay an application fee of ₹1,180 online. However, SC/ST/Differently Abled/Ex-servicemen/Women candidates, as well as employees of Coal India Limited, are exempt from the application fee. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹41,966.51 to ₹51,103.12.
