Maulana Abbas Calls for Strict Action Following Stone Pelting Incident During Mohan Bhagwats Train Journey

Ghaziabad, June 12: Shia religious leader Maulana Syed Saif Abbas has condemned the stone pelting incident that occurred during the journey of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on the Shatabdi Express. He stated that such incidents are detrimental to our country and society. Additionally, Maulana Abbas responded to the Ghaziabad district administration’s order for police verification of gym trainers.

In an interview with a news agency, Maulana Syed Saif Abbas expressed, “Mohan Bhagwat, the chief of a major organization in India, faced this incident, and I strongly condemn it. I believe a committee should be formed as soon as possible to investigate this matter, and the culprits must be arrested.”

He further emphasized that such occurrences are harmful to our nation and society.

The incident involved stones being thrown at a coach of the Lucknow-Delhi Shatabdi Express near Firozabad railway station, where Mohan Bhagwat was traveling. Fortunately, he was not harmed in the incident.

Moreover, Maulana Syed Saif Abbas praised the district administration’s decision regarding police verification of gym trainers in Ghaziabad. He remarked, “The order issued by the District Magistrate of Ghaziabad is, in my opinion, a very positive step. In today’s circumstances, when such incidents and disturbances are occurring, it is essential to know and identify who the right people are and who the wrong ones are. This order will send a positive message to society and will also reduce incidents of mutual enmity.”

It is noteworthy that the Ghaziabad district administration has made police verification and ID display mandatory for all gym trainers. This significant step aims to ensure the identification of trainers working in gyms across Ghaziabad.
