Mumbai, August 15: Anand Dubey, spokesperson for Shiv Sena (UBT), emphasized the importance of ‘Vande Mataram‘ as a symbol of respect and love for the nation and motherland. He stated that every individual should honor both the country and ‘Vande Mataram’.
Regarding the Marathi language issue, Dubey mentioned that the government has made arrangements to teach Marathi to non-Marathi auto-rickshaw and taxi drivers in Mumbai and Maharashtra. He noted that nearly 90% of these individuals have learned Marathi, while the remaining have been given an additional three months to do so. He asserted that this is not a significant issue and that those attempting to politicize it will lose their support base.
Dubey clarified that every resident of Maharashtra is a contributing citizen to the state’s development. He assured that no permits would be revoked, and those who have not yet learned the language will continue to have opportunities.
Welcoming Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative to connect youth with AI, Dubey stressed the need to improve the infrastructure of government schools. He pointed out the shortage of teachers in many schools and urged the government to address this issue first. Adequate provisions for online education are also essential, requiring students to have access to mobile phones and the internet.
He highlighted that the youth population in the country is substantial, with millions pursuing education. Training only one crore youth in AI will not suffice; a larger number must be prepared for future technologies.
Dubey expressed that the efforts made for today’s youth will lay the foundation for a better future for India when the country celebrates 100 years of independence.
On the Gen-Z generation, he remarked that today’s youth are aware. However, some may drift from the mainstream due to circumstances, and it is crucial to reintegrate these individuals into society. He encouraged youth to draw inspiration from the thoughts and lives of the nation’s great leaders, helping them distinguish between right and wrong while contributing positively to the country’s development.
He extended Independence Day greetings to all citizens and paid tribute to the freedom fighters who sacrificed everything for the independence struggle. Dubey also honored the soldiers dedicated to maintaining the country’s unity, integrity, and pride.
He called upon all citizens to unite in realizing the dreams of the immortal martyrs of the freedom struggle and to contribute to building a developed, self-reliant, and superior India in every field.
