Massive Fire Breaks Out at Plastic Granule Factory in Bhiwadi, Millions in Damages Expected

Bhiwadi, May 24: A devastating fire erupted at the Giridhar Roller Rep Private Limited, a plastic granule manufacturing company located in the Bhiwadi industrial area Phase-1, on Saturday night around 9:30 PM.

Reports indicate that the fire spread rapidly, engulfing the entire factory within minutes and leaving a significant portion of the facility in ruins. Towering flames and thick smoke were visible from several kilometers away, creating panic in the surrounding areas.

Upon receiving the alert, fire engines from the Bhiwadi Municipal Council and the RIICO fire department rushed to the scene. However, due to the presence of plastic materials and flammable substances, the fire quickly escalated, making initial containment efforts challenging. In light of the seriousness of the situation, additional fire trucks were summoned from Tijara, Khairthal, Khushkheda, and other nearby industrial zones. Firefighters worked tirelessly throughout the night to extinguish the blaze.

As of now, the cause of the fire remains unknown. It is suspected that the plastic granules and other chemical materials stored in the factory played a significant role in the rapid spread of the flames. The building, machinery, and finished goods have been completely destroyed, leading to an estimated loss of millions of rupees for the company.

Bhiwadi police officer Sachin Sharma arrived at the scene with his team to assess the situation. Both police and administrative teams are closely monitoring the ongoing rescue and relief operations. Fortunately, officials report no casualties, which is considered a relief. However, a thorough assessment of the actual damages will only be possible once the fire is fully extinguished and the situation is stabilized.

Local authorities have advised nearby factories and residents to remain vigilant. An investigation into the cause of the fire will commence after the blaze is completely under control.
